Primary Inspirations 2025-26

Ten primary schools will be involved in whole class composition and performance – creating new works to be performed in each participating school to an audiences of children, young people, teachers and parents. Jason Rowland leads the sessions with musicians from Chamber Domaine working with each class.

Whole class groups will be attending lunchtime concerts in St.Mary’s Church, West Malling and Malling Abbey in September 2025.

Let’s Compose 2025-26

Opportunities for secondary school students to work with outstanding professional composers and musicians to develop compositional skills particularly aimed at GCSE and A level students.

Concerts by world-class musicians

Opportunities to hear set works and related repertoire at Music@Malling concerts including Bach Brandenburg Concertos; Bernard Herrmann Psycho; Hildegard of Bingen and contemporary music by Deborah Pritchard, Zöe Martlew, Kerry Andrew, Stevie Wishart, Brian Elias,  Dani Howard, Joy Nkoyo, Cheryl Frances-Hoad and Hugh Webb plus film music ranging from Bernard Hermann through to John Williams.
