Leaving a Legacy
Music@Malling brings outstanding musicians into the heart of the community through concerts and outreach. Since 2011, our activities have been enjoyed by countless people from the local area and beyond. By choosing to leave a Legacy Gift to Music@Malling – you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our activities in the future will continue to enthral, educate and entertain – bringing joy through the power of music for years to come.
Types of Legacy Gift
You can support our future work by choosing to leave us:
- A specific gift – you can donate an artwork or instrument, for instance
- A pecuniary gift – you can specify an amount of money
- A residuary gift – you can leave a percentage of the remainder of your estate after other specified legacies and expenses have been provided for.
As we are a registered charity, no inheritance tax would be payable on your gift to us. Making a gift to a charity can also reduce the amount of inheritance tax you pay, depending on the size and complexity of your estate.
How to leave our charity a Legacy Gift
You can leave us a gift by:
- writing a new will and including a gift to our charity
- amending your existing will via a simple Codicil form

Please tell your solicitor that you wish to leave a gift to Music@Malling Ltd (Charity number: 1150337; Company number: 08048051). Let us know about your Legacy Gift.
