Join Lizzie Ball and her much celebrated colleagues of her Classical Kicks as they take you on a journey through many musical styles and genres: all with the unique Classical Kicks twist.
Featuring dips into birdsong and folksong with Una Palliser, a trip down memory lane of some of the greatest songs of all time arranged by James Pearson and some dazzling classical staples by Vivaldi and Copland.
This promises to be an uplifting, eclectic and inspiring evening of music!!

For the End of Time

A late night performance of Messiaen’s iconic Quatuor pour la fin du temps.
Written in a prisoner of war camp in 1940 and premiered in January 1941 to 400 inmates and guards – Messiaen later wrote: “Never was I listened to with such rapt attention.”
The performance opens with an improvisation by James Pearson – Artistic Director of Ronnie Scott’s – inspired by Olivier Messiaen and birdsong.
